1. Service Description

MDtoLink ("the Service"), operated by DK Tech Solutions UG (limited liability) ("we", "us", "our"), provides a platform for publishing markdown files to shareable URLs. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete account information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

3. User Content & Publisher Responsibility

You, the publisher, are solely and fully responsible for all content you publish through MDtoLink.

This includes but is not limited to markdown documents, embedded media, links, and any other material made available via the Service. DK Tech Solutions UG (limited liability) does not review, endorse, or assume any liability for user-published content.

By publishing content through MDtoLink, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have the legal right to publish and distribute the content
  • Your content does not violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Your content does not contain illegal, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise harmful material
  • You are solely liable for any legal consequences arising from your published content

We are not liable for any illegal, infringing, or otherwise objectionable content published by users of the Service. The publisher bears exclusive responsibility for ensuring their content complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Content Moderation & Removal

We reserve the right to remove, disable, or restrict access to any content at our sole discretion, at any time, and without prior notice.

Content may be removed if we determine that it:

  • Violates these Terms of Service
  • Contains illegal or unlawful material
  • Infringes on intellectual property or third-party rights
  • Contains malware, phishing, or other malicious content
  • Is used for spam, harassment, hate speech, or incitement to violence
  • Poses a risk to platform security or other users
  • Is otherwise objectionable or harmful as determined by us

We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Distribute illegal content or content that violates applicable laws
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten others
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures of the platform
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights to the content you publish through MDtoLink. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

The MDtoLink platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of DK Tech Solutions UG (limited liability).

7. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price changes take effect. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. DK Tech Solutions UG (limited liability) shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Any content published by users of the platform
  • Actions taken based on user-published content

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DK Tech Solutions UG (limited liability), its officers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Content you publish through the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your published content will be removed and your data will be deleted within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, followed by the competent courts in Munich, Germany if necessary.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice via email or a prominent notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
